First, get to the hospital in Staunton Island. Make sure that you are on the left side of it It's hard to do it without doing that. Jump onto the platform above the Hospital ''Entrance'' and go slowly straight to the square-looking wall.
Go into it turning right, and go forward. You should fall out of the world and land in the underground passage. Turn right and go quicly to the beauty of Shoreside Vale. If you hit a blue wall, turn around and go. To exploit this glitch it's just a matter of putting the fire out as the clock is going to hit 0.
If done correctly, the timer will disappear allowing infinite time to cruise to the next fire. Contributed By: TheDreamingLover. This glitch applies to the missions Gripped! These are optional missions you can start by entering specific vehicles around Liberty City, and have the premise of collecting a set of checkpoints before a timer runs out.
In each of these missions, collect a checkpoint just as the timer reaches - the timing can be rather precise and may take several tries. If done at just the right time however, the timer will disappear and you will have unlimited time to complete the rest of the mission! For this glitch, you need to be able to do the mission "Ciprani's Chauffer" a mission by Joey in Portland in the early part of the game. Bring a Taxi or Cabbie to the mission.
Continue holding it, and leave your vehicle. Start the mission and after the cutscene you'll be in control of a Mafia Sentinel. Continue holding the mission button as you drive to the laundromat in Chinatown.
Park in the mission marker and watch the cutscene that occurs. After the cutscene, begin driving off to avoid being dragged out of the car, and release the mission button. A few secondes after this, you'll receive a message on your pager about the Borginine taxi being unlocked, confirming you have done the glitch correctly and tricked the game into believing you've managed to do fares!
Go to any garage that can fit two or more cars in. When It is full, get another car right up next to the door, and get out. Press triangle as the door is going up, and hit X fast to get the car in. You might have to move the cars in the garage around, but it's possible to get up to 6 cars in any given garage. For some reason, the radio station you selected will reset. You will notice the station track reset if you are in a car.
Take an ambulance to the top of Marco's Bistro in the St. Mark's area. It takes a bit of work, but you should be able to get it up the stairs eventually. Now, slowly back it up so that it almost rolls over the edge of the little wall, but not all the way. Now quickly find a car on the street and bring it in front of the ambulance so that you can jump on the ambulance's hood and then roof.
While on the roof, jump towards the brick wall of the building. You should end up on an invisible ledge or roof and you can run around quite a large area before the invisible ground ends. If there are sparks, then it's safe to walk, and if there aren't any than you will fall if you try to walk there. Get into a taxi, hold down the R3 button.
Exit the taxi and step into another car, release the R3 button and you should be able to do taxi mission in the car you are currently in. You need a saved game for this.
Start a new game, and after the beginning cutscene load your other game. You'll have everything, but you'll still be wearing a prisoner outfit. On the second island Staunton Island , go to the left of the main entrance of the car park that was used in the Kingdom Come mission. Go up the stairway you find up the alleyway with a car and park the car by the wall to the right.
The wall is too high to jump on so you will need the car. Jump on the car, then on the wall and you will be on a flat roof. Jump off the wall to the area where you see all the metal fire escape stairways and look around.
Whenever the moon is visible at night shoot it with the sniper rifle to make the moon bigger or smaller. When not going through a normal mission, get in an Ambulance and press R3.
Save 35 pedestrians and a health refill will appear outside any of your save points. Save 70 pedestrians and an adrenaline pill will appear outside any of your save points. Complete the Ambulance level 12 and Infinite Run will be granted. NOTE:You do not have to save the pedestrians consecutively.
You can do it as you go through the game. These cheats apply specifically to the PlayStation 2 version. Enter codes with the PS2 controller at any time during gameplay. You don't need to pause the game first.
To disable a code, enter it again. Saving with cheats enabled can corrupt your game file. Save before entering cheat codes, then quit the game without saving when you're done playing. When you collect over 9, rounds of ammo for a weapon, you automatically get unlimited ammo. You'll still have to reload, but you'll never run out of bullets. To repair damaged vehicles, park your vehicle in your garage, then get out and walk away. After the door closes automatically, return to your car to find it fully repaired.
If you overload a garage, you can park more than two vehicles. In fact, you can fit six small cars into the garage.
When you have two cars in the garage, jam one of them under the garage door so that it won't close. Then, drive the others into the garage to get all six to stay in the garage. To quickly get to the second or third island from the first, drive your car to the first island and park next to the blue wall near the tunnel that blocks off the other two islands.
Blow up your car to be flung to a different island. If you want to change the color of your car, pay for a repair at Pay 'N Spray, then drive back in to get a free paint job. Grab a fancy car and drive to the Red Light District to pick up a lady. If you take her to an alley and wait, you'll eventually raise your maximum health to Start a new mission and go near a suspect's car.
To get 6 cars in your Staunton Island garage, you must first know were the cars that you want are located. Then, you must have at least one car already in the garage so that when you are ready to start bringing in the other cars, it will help you hold the garage door open. Thirdly, when you start to pull the cars into the garage, you must park the vehicles in the garage three in a row.
If your having trouble killing SAlvatoe Leone, try this. Get a tank and park it inthe entrance to his house or where you used to get your missions from him. His cr can't get passed it. So go where the tank is and take out your rocket lancher. To get the army on you you need to get to the mission decoy for don love.
When you get to the mission you get the car it tells you you will have the army on you. At night, to make the full moon smaller, pull out your sniper rifel and aim at the moon and shoot it. You will notice that the moon has eather shrunk or gotten real big. While in a car, turn to Cahtterbox on the radio. If you listen all the way through, you should hear Maria, "Maria, like Mamma Mia! To DO The taxi driver misions in a different car get in a cab first then press, and hold R3 until u get into another car.
All directional buttons are oppisite ex: Left makes you go right, down makes you go up,ect;. This car is actually pretty good.
You must do taxi missions they don't have to be in a row in order to get it. You should do the taxi missions in a place where you know th roads well. Once you have done , you will get a message on your beeper.
Go to the Taxi place in Harwood and you will find it parked by a garage. After you have completed a few of the missions for Toni Cipriani stay out of chinatown or the Triads will attack you. Don't drive slow or walk through without a good weapon. WHen you get in a tank press R3. You will receive money for each criminal you kill. When you are inside a taxi press R3. You will be able to get extra money by picking people up and dropping them off in a certain amount of time.
When you're in an ambulance, press the R3 button to enter Ambulance mode. In this mode, you'll have to pick up injured people and take them to the hospital. The more people you save, the more money you get. When you're in a fire truck, press R3 to enter Firefighter mode. In this mode, you'll have to put out fires. The more fires you put out, the more money you make. When you're in a cop car, press R3 to enter Vigilante mode.
In this mode, you'll have to shoot and kill criminals. The more you kill, the more money you make. This is one way that I kow how to get the FBI car. First, go to the casino Stauton Island. Second,stand on the steps where they turn and kill enough people to get five stars. Third, wait for the FBI cars to come. Use your sniper to take out the four officers that get out.
Fourth,quickly put in the code to decrease felony stars thenwiat for everybody to leave and hop in. Steal a car any car besides a cop car and turn the radio station to Chatterbox Just listen and wait and soon Toni will call Chatterbox and he'll be on the radio. By far the toughest bulletproof car to get. Like the Cheetah, this Bobcat is bulletproof, fireproof, and explosionproof, but very tough to get. Now, start the mossion "Evidence Dash". Find the Bobcat carrying the evidence and ram it to flip it onto its hood.
You have to take whatever vehicle you might be driving and push the Bobcat all the way back across town to your garage. Depending on where you flipped the Bobcat, it could be easy to get or tough to get. Well, not really. Drive your everyday car into the police station in Staunten Island. When you drive in, go to the right or to your left if you drive down the stairs and you will see a cop car. Now drive forward and to your left you can't exit through the gate you came in. Of the 4 off road missions in the game, at least 2 have a glitch in them which makes them a lot easier.
The missions "A Ride In the Park" with the Landstalker and "Multi-Storey Mayhem" with the Stallion each have a glitch in that if you get a checkpoint just before the mission ends you can do the rest of the mission without being timed.
Now you can take your time getting the rest of the checkpoints. The only thing you have to worry about is tipping over the horrible Landstalker! The sniper rampages can be rather difficult and it took me many tries to complete them, until I found out a few things. First, there can only be so many gang members on the street at once, so if you go all the way to the end of wherever you are standing, the gang members will spot you and come running. They will run against the wall below you and you will not be able to shoot them, leaving less people to shoot.
Also, if you shoot a few gang members and take your fire off of R1 to leave first person view the gang members on the street will respawn, leaving a lot gang members to shoot. Go by the paint n spray, and there is an alley on the left. Go down that then cross the road.
There will be a rampage in the little place. If your car cathes on fire, stay in it and enter the the health cheat. Your car will be fixed. But the looks won't change to get them fixed take them to the garage. On the first island, go to the tunnel that leads to the other islands. You must be in a car, start at the top of the hill just above the curve leading down to the tunnel entrance, flip the car off the rock wall and slide upside down on the roof towards the barracade on the right side of the lane divider.
If you were going fast enough, your car will slide upside down THROUGH the baracade, and you can exit the car on the other side before it blows up. If you die, you will go back to the original island, but if you stop, and load game - you will be back on the new island. When you are doing the mission where you have to get the bazooka, drive a boat out to the water, and shoot the plane down, and collect the cargo, there's a glitch.
Once you gathered all the packages, go in the speed boat the guy had. Go in that, and ram into the wall where you found it. After awhile you will go through and giant waves will pound over you. Your boat will disappear, then come back spinning and flipping around in a blue screen. Then, your boat will just appear on the shore, or in the street near the shore in Shoreside Vale. I know its complicated, but it's true!! Try it! Get a car and type in the crazy pedestrians cheat or get lots of cars and make a square around lots of people then get out.
Go somewhere close by but not too close to a car because u will get inside of it then type in the blow up cars cheat. First all you do is put in the great handling while driving code in and press L3 when you go off of a jump.
Go to the parking lot behind the building where the mission kingdom come took place. It's the one where you get in the car and Catilina has men chase you down with bombs attached to there chests. Put on the better drinving skills code and jump over the wall the blocks you off from the apartment bulidings where all the trees are. Look on the wall behind you the one you just jumped over and somewhere on the wall theres a hidden message from the programmer. You'll have to find out yourslef what it says.
You can also fly over the wall wtih the dodo but jumping is easier. Most of you might know this but if you steal a cab and press R3, you will enter a cab mission. In the cab mission, you have to pick up prostitutes and take them where they order you to go. To easily complete the Escort Service mission do not get a car just get the rocket launcher or enter the all weapons code to get the rocket launcher.
Jump on top of the Securicar and go for a ride as you shoot the Columbian Cartel. PS you just barly clear the tunnel.
In Portland go to the rode were the hospital and police station is, it's next to callahan bridge. The biulding that is at the end of the road has an opening that you can drive through. On the the right side is a rampage mission evolving a rocket launcher, and a certain amount of cars you have to blow up in a time limit.
After doing it you u get the reward and the rocket launcher for your prize. This hint is quite complex but its well worth it. If done right you should be able to fly any of the cars as you normaly would when the Dodo cheat is on with empty roads. Liberty city would have no running trafic. The only cars wil be in the parking lots. Enable the "Dodo car" or "flying" code.
Next enter the Tank code. Both should be listed on this site. You have to be in Shorside Vale for this. Go over the smaller bridge from the industrial part of Shorside Vale to the residental. Not The Dam you should be on a 4 lane road with houses on the side. Now turn the turent on the tank arround using the left analog stick. Shoot the tank gun and hold accelerate. Keep shooting even after you lift off of the ground. Go twords the stadium in Staunton Island while in the air.
Once you get over it drop in. I expected to land on the field but you don't. Its hard to explain. Well anyway there are two things you can do 1 recomended shoot all the different guns randomly. In any direction any gun. No cars should be there. One of these two codes works.
From there, again get the tank. Drive it to the long road near the hospital. Turn the turrent around and accelerate while firing. Again you will rise. Keep firing and holding X until you fly near Donald Love's Building. You should be high enough to land there. From up there you can go into his office and everything.
NOTE - Saving will freeze the game. In the 2-car garage, have a car in there already like the Buggy or anything accept a tank. Now have 2 cars a little far away, now park one half way in but really close to the Buggy, just enough to squeeze through. Now you have to make sure you have it half way in and half way out just to hold the garage door open. To get all 6 police bribes at you hideouts just get 20 kills in the vigilante missions in each island.
First, you go to the police station and look around to see if there are any cops there. Then, check the doors. Go into any Ammunation store and kill the guy behind the counter. When he dies, he'll leave some free shotgun ammo for you to pick up. He might shoot back so use a powerful gun. He reappears if you come back so you can do it as many times as you want. To get free armor, you first have to find an Enforcer, that's the amored cars that appear when you have four stars.
When you get in the car, you will have full armor. If you don't want to hop in when you have four stars, there's an Enforcr in the back of the police station in Staunton Island behind the gate, but you need a police car to open it. When you are in a car. Then tap it four times and then it will have a message on top that say's Cinematic Change. Then the veiw will change to a different veiw all the time.
It has one view like it's that show "COPS". It get's confusing once in a while. You find an L-Train in one of theses locations when you are running from the police Red Light District, Portland, Liberty Campus, Statuation Island, Bedford Point, Francis International Airport and Shoreside vale keep on going on the train stops go around about three times and the cops should go away. Get the tank and go around blowin stuff up. The cops will try to stop you by runing into you.
Don't do this for to long your tank will blow up. To shoot at a much faster rate Hold down the fire button and tap the auto-aim button. In Staunton island head to the Amco building near Kenji's casino, and go where the underground parking lot is.
Get out of your car and go left around the side of the building. Keep searching and you'll find some stairs, theres a rampage here and on the top is a hidden package. It also makes a good sniper point! In Portland, in the highest area of Portland is elevated train station. In Portland, get a decent car, such as the cab or something that is not too heavy.
This game can be played as many times as desired. In Portland, go to the Capital Auto shop. Take a big car and ram it into the glass on the store to break it. Inside is the fastest car in the game, which resembles a Shelby. In Staunton Island, there is a hidden package on the hospital roof in Stauton Island.
The package is on the corner of the building directly across from the stairs. To get the package, park an ambulance parallel, right next to the building where the package is located.
Then, park any "van" perpendicular to the ambulance. Then, park any "car" next to the van. Finally, just jump onto each vehicle to get to the roof. The hospital parking lot contains plenty of vehicles to choose from. This is a gang car, called the Yardie Lobo. Press L3 to make the car push up and remain that way. Press the L3 continuously to jump with your hydraulics. Enter the car in the parking lot to get a secret race-type mission, where you must go through check points.
With R2 he will shoot right and L2 left. Your character will reach out his arm out the window and fire his. This only works with the UZI though. Control your aim by moving forward and backward with you vehicle.
Go to pay and spray once. Then, immediately drive back in an get a new paint job, free of charge. This can be done as many times as needed until you get the desired paint job. Park your car s in the garage at the save point. Exit, then go in to save. You can either save your game or cancel.
Either way, your car s will be repaired. The game will remember the location of tanks, no matter where they are. Save your game, and when you load it again the tank will be where you saved it. Note: It is not necessary to ever park it in the garage. To get the tank to go extremely fast, turn your turret to face directly back, then fire repeatedly.
Watch your shots -- if you hit any cars the cops will chase you. This is especially useful for the Vigilante missions. Use the following trick to get to Staunton Island before the bridge is fixed and before the subway is open.
Go to the bridge to Staunton Island. Go past where the blockage cones are located, to basically be on the bridge. Make sure you are all the way back to get enough room to take off using the tank as a plane. Start firing the cannon backwards and accelerate.
Keep firing the cannon backwards, and just as you get to the edge where the bridge has been broken, you will take off.
Try and get back on the ground. If done correctly, you will now be on Staunton Island and when you cross the bridge, the "Welcome To Staunton Island" screen will appear. Note: You can use nearly any car, but the tank has a better ability to fly higher.
Find a car that is stopped at a stop light and hop up onto the top of the hood then walk onto the roof. From there you have two things working for you. You have a great view to pop some heads and also you can use any toy of distruction. The down side to this whole plan is the police. Once they decide to show, the owner of the car reacts in different ways.
Some will try to remove you from the top of their cars by driving crazy, and some just flow. A way of avoiding the police comes with how selective you are with the crowd. Shoot only gang members, the police could care less, but remember gangs like to deal it out too, the only difference is gangs don't show up in great numbers with helicoptors. This is not a mission one of the bosses or people tell you to do it is a side mission you have to find.
On the first level go to the area with the 2 big boats. Go to the boat that you can go on but dont go on it. Once there drive to the left until you see a crane magnet hanging. Im not sure what you get once all vehicles are delivered im still working on it. I will let you know when i find out. Once you get to second level wheter you beat the first level or cheat to get to it go to the peir and find a boat.
Once you got a boat go to the left of the docks a drive until you hit some bowies once you hit them turn around and drive along the edge of the water at the right until you have a good area to drive boat onto land once the boat is on the land push it to the road find a truck and steal it.
Once in the truck push the boat in front of the military base while on the main road that you are on once past the base push the boat to the left towards the water once boat is near water get out of truck and push the boat with the person to the water once boat starts to fall in quickly press the triangle button then he should get in the boat and the boat should fall in the water.
Once in the water go straight across the water to the other side and drive along the edge until you find a good area to go on land once on the land you are the Shoreside Vale level. Go to the little house on the little radar and save.
Now when you die you can load the level instead of doing this all over again. Get 5 or more Police stars and the FBI comes after you. They are dresed in black and they drive Black cars. To continue to run at a fast pace without fatigue, just tap X instead of holding it down.
This helps when trying to give your character "exercise" so that he can run for longer periods of time as well. The following items are always available at your safe house, and regenerate. Successfully complete the Mafia missions in story mode to unlock the Buggy. Return to Portland and go to the Diablo parking lot where the mission phone is located between to to find the same Buggy glimpsed in Joey's garage from the Mafia mission.
It will appear in the same location and change color each time. For a good time, and a little extra health, drive around Liberty City and find yourself a prostitute. The Red Light District is full of 'em! Pull up next to a Liberty City "companion" and honk your horn to call her over. Once the whore approaches the car she'll bend over and "proposition" you; wait roughly 3 seconds and she'll hop into the car!
Once she has entered the car, drive to a secluded location where there are no cars, pedestrians, or police nearby. Park the car and wait about seconds to allow the fun to begin.
